Terms and Conditions

ALTERATIONS
Any alteration in the specifications of the work to be performed by Lopez Tree Service Corp that results in an increase in the contract price needs to be reviewed by the original estimator.

CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILITY
The client confirms that all trees and vegetation on which work will be performed are either owned by them or that they have obtained the necessary authorization from the rightful property owner. The client is responsible for compensating Lopez Tree Service Corp. for any damages claimed by a third party who proves actual ownership of the trees and vegetation on which the work was done. If access to the neighbor's property is required for tree work, the customer must obtain permission from the neighbor before Lopez Tree Service Corp begins work.

STUMP GRINDING
Stumps can be removed using a commercial stump grinder, which will grind the stump to a depth of 4-6 inches below the ground, woodchips are to be piled back into the hole. If requested, the hole can be completely cleaned or leveled with the ground, for an additional fee . Lopez Tree Service Corp will attempt to minimize damage to any underground lines while stump grinding.

PERSONAL PROPERTY
The Customer is responsible for removing all personal property from the worksite prior to the arrival date. Should the Customer fail to remove these items or require assistance with their relocation, Lopez Tree Service Corp will make reasonable efforts to move or protect them. However, Lopez Tree Service Corp shall not be held liable for any resulting damage.

LAWNS/UTILITIES/DRIVEWAYS AND SIDEWALKS
Lopez Tree Service Corp will not be responsible for repairing the yard due to working while ground is wet/damp. 
Lopez Tree Service Corp is not liable for damages to any irrigation lines, drain lines, invisible fences, cables, or any other underground utilities that Lopez Tree Service Corp has not been made aware of in advance or during the estimate/quote process. 
Lopez Tree Service Corp will attempt to minimize any damage to driveways and sidewalks. Lopez Tree Service Corp is not responsible for any cracks or other damage caused to sidewalks and/or driveways from our vehicles or equipment.

PAYMENT
Customer agrees to pay the account in full upon completion of work, if on site or otherwise stated. If not on site payment is due within FIVE business days. Failure to remit full payment within specified time frame will result in a 5%  late fee.
Lopez Tree Service Corp accepts payment via check, cash, as well as most major credit cards. All credit card payments have a 3.5% fee. 
If a check is returned for insufficient funds, Customer will be assessed a $40 fee. 

CUSTOMER’S RIGHT TO CANCEL
The Customer has 48 hours to cancel the job. If the cancellation is not made within this timeframe, a cancellation fee will apply. Deposits are non-refundable
